In the fall of ’06, I matched my 8wt with the Vosseler DC4 and immediately went out to my winter fishery, Pyramid Lake.

Pyramid is a huge desert lake and is full of Lahontan Cutthroat. Unfortunately, it’s also full of strong alkali, salt and minerals.
My previous reel didn’t fair so well to put it mildly. I was hopeful that with the DC’s tough reputation, it would fair better.
It has.
After one full season and well into its second, the DC4 is still in amazing condition without a hint of corrosion. It’s easily survived the sand, freezing conditions, plenty of the-fish-comes-first attention, and more importantly the water.

I couldn’t ask for more.
It’s strong, rugged and beautiful just like the lake where I fish it.

Thank you for the great reel.

Herr Ralf Vosseler,
I had the recent pleasure of captaining the England A Pike flyfishing team in the Finland tournament, where we narrowly beat the Dutch A team to take second place. I so enjoyed the company and rivalry of Harman-Jan, Erik, Sander and Henk-Jan, and I also really fell in love with the looks and engineering quality of their reels, which I had never seen before, and which I understand that you made. Although they are arguably "too good" for pike fly fishing everyone likes to use classy tackle, and I am pretty sure that they would be very popular with the english pike fly fishers. I am fairly well known in English pike fishing circles, writing regularly in" Pike and Predators", "Coarse Angling today", "Pikelines" etc and have contributed several chapters in a few Angling books. I also hold the pike record at Chew Valley Lake with a fly-caught pike of 40lbs 8oz. If you would be kind enough to consider supplying me with a reel the same as the Dutch boys used, it would give me great pleasure to promote it in the english press at every opportunity, and I am fairly sure they would sell in good numbers. I know times are hard and would totally understand if you feel unable to do this, but I am determined to own and use such a reel in any event, and I thought that this would be the best first step !
My apologies in advance if you feel my request is a bit "cheeky", but in any event I send you my kind regards.

Yours sincerely, Mike Green

Dear Vosseler,

I just purchased one of your RC-L fly reels and I must say what a beautiful piece of machinery it is!
It truly lives up to the German reputation of fine engineering.
Elegant, yet functional I look forward to many years of use from it.
Someday, I would like to tour your factory.

Best regards,
Gary

Hello,
I recently purchased your dc4 reel and wanted to tell you that I think it is the finest reel I have ever used.
I am curious if there is any way to obtain one of your base caps here in the U.S.? I have not found a dealer that carries them. I would love to tell the world about your great reels!
Thanks for your time,
Chris

Hello from Bled,

A few days before I bought Vosseler S3. Now I have three models: RC2-L, DC4 and S3. I am really satisfied about all your fly reels. A lot of my largest fishes I have lend are by Vosseler fly reel on my fly rod. Last big fish was Carp 22kg+ and for it I use Vosseler DC4. It is really pleasure to have big fish with that kind of fly reels.
Know I am thinking to write some article for fly fishing magazine about my enthusiasm for Vosselers reels. Name of that magazine is "MUŠIČAR" (http://www.musicar.rs/). Already I have writen about Vosseler quality on our fly fishing forum. But I am thinking now to write some article fort hat magazine Mušičar. I am thinking to try to achieve it during that year, maybe in September.
I think that Vosseler reels are really best offer because of really acceptable price for Hiqh Quality Fly Reels.

I will write about my enthusiasm, my opinion, experience etc.

Do you have some yours suggestions pr informations to give me that I can write about Your reels.

Thank you and we'll stay in touch!
